Secretary since 2010

I have been a WI member for over 30years. I joined MFRWI in 2009.

I enjoy kurling, darts, whist, Rummikub and walking. I am a great organiser and I am currently on the County Sports & Leisure Committee.

President 2024

 I joined MFRWI in November 2021, shortly after moving into the village. The welcome was warm and I felt at home. I joined the committee last year and this year I’m honoured to be your President.
I love meeting people and owing to my background, I enjoy ‘helping and supporting’.
My hobbies include walking, crafting (especially crochet) and have just taken up painting in watercolour. 

Treasurer 2024

 I moved to Fiskerton in October 2022. I was previously a WI member in Ashover, Derbyshire, and served for many years as the treasurer and also as secretary. I love meeting new people and helping a WI thrive.
I enjoy needle crafts especially machine embroidery and patchwork & quilting. 

Programme Co-ordinator

 I joined MFRWI shortly after retiring and moving to Fiskerton in May 2022 and was made to feel so very welcome from the first meeting. I’m definitely a people person and enjoy meeting people, spending time with my family, gardening and generally keeping busy!
